That’s the problem with putting others first; you’ve taught them you come second.

read that, again.

  1. 14 years old: I'm young but I know what I want. This isn't that hard, I'm all grown up already and have everything figured out.
  2. 17 years old: Well, this is a little harder than I thought. School is almost ending. What am I going to do with my life?
  3. 21 years old: What the fuck is going on? Where are my socks?
  4. 33 years old: *sips coffee* One wrong move and this could all go down in flames. Jesus Christ.

Female BAMFs Throughout History

There is a movie about that Thailand kick boxer.

There should be a movie about all of them

Someone else posted this with all their names, but I’ve just realised that that Thai fighter is Nong Toom, the film is called Beautiful Boxer.

She’s an absolute badass of a fighter and her kicking style is very distinctive. Her coach trained my coach and my club’s roundhouse kicks are in the same style. My coach’s son was even going to fight her while they were training in Thailand!

One of many cool things about her is her Wai khru, the traditional Thai pre-fight ceremony. At it’s most basic the Wai khru honours your coach and club, but the Wai khru becomes deeply personal for veteran fighters, who incorporate moves into their Wai khru to represent their fighting style, fight record etc. Nong Toom’s Wai khru is very unique and brilliant to watch as she incorporates a lot of moves to represent the fact that she is a kathoey, such as mimicking putting on make up and checking her hair.

You can check out her Wai khru and her fighting in this vid:
